‘Heat ‘n’ Eat’ £1 Monday Lunch
If you’re a Ruddington resident, coping with the cost of living, how about meeting others with a chef-prepared hot meal, plus soft drink, for only £1 served at St Peter’s Church at 12.30pm? ‘Heat ‘n’ Eat ‘will be running on selected Mondays this year.
Organisers at St Peter’s Church say “Heat ‘n’ Eat is a new way for everyone to enjoy affordable, good, wholesome food. We hope you’ll want to be part of this new community whether you work at home or in a local office, live alone or with a partner, or simply enjoy socialising.”
This new fortnightly initiative has been made possible with financial support from Rushcliffe Borough Council. The 2-course meal started on the 27th June 2022 and proved very popular.
Anyone who lives in the village can book. But places are limited, so you’ll need to register in advance >>HERE<< via Eventbrite, so organisers know how many people to cater for. The current limit is around 30 per meal with the possibility of expanding it if there is more demand. For further details, or help with registering, please email Church Administrator Nikki at ruddoffice@gmail.com.
